Birmingham Day Retreat
It’s that time of year again!
Our festive Day Retreat can be no other then The Nutcracker and this year, we will be learning the breathtaking Waltz of the Snowflakes which symbolises Clara and The Nutcracker Prince’s whirlwind journey together, the transition from the human world to the Land of the Sweets, and marks the closing of Act 1. It’s a shimmering, magical corps de ballet ensemble set to swirling Tchaikovsky music which mimics the movement of falling snowflakes and captures the atmosphere of wintery wonderland. Choreographically, the waltz is very intricate and flowing and moves seamlessly between moments of stillness and motion, much like nature itself!

This Day Retreat is tailored for adult ballet dancers at an Intermediate level and above. The repertoire will be modified to suit the level stipulated.

What’s not included?
Accommodation if you are travelling from outside of Birmingham however recommendations are available upon request.
Your travel expenses to and from the studio and/or to and from Birmingham.

Your participation is secured by payment in full or by a 30% deposit, and please note this deposit is non-refundable but can be transferrable.
Payments must be completed in full no later than 4 weeks before the start date of the retreat after which time no refunds are available on either balance.
New bookings made after this date will need to be completed in full.
